Description

Make sure you get ready for this 90-minute slugfest. Lou Adler contends that there is little evidence that the traditional behavioral interview actually improves quality of hire. Dr. Tom Janz – one of the originators of the behavioral event interviewing process – is the leading witness for the defense. Dr. John Sullivan will be the referee, but he’s expected to jump into the fray. In this fight to the finish, you’ll find out, at last, if behavioral event interviewing is all it’s cracked up to be, or just another exercise in futility. Here’s the agenda for the first few rounds, but who knows what can happen when these heavyweights enter the ring.

Round 1 – What is quality of hire anyway and how is it measured?
Round 2 – How does the behavioral event interview improve quality of hire?
Round 3 – Counter punch: the evidence isn’t convincing.
Round 4 – Are there ways to increase assessment accuracy and improve quality of hire?
Round 5 – And the winner is… and some great conclusions, as well.
